Little change compared to the 2023 LG C3.
-
A bit outdated design with remote control and no backlight.
The LG 55C4 – the 55-inch (140 cm) version of the 65C4 we tested – is still a pretty good Oled television, even if we’re starving in the year 2024, let’s admit it. We see almost no evolution over the previous model, and if you can find a 55C3 at a good price, we can only suggest you go for it. Nevertheless the C4 represents great value for money, very versatile with all the benefits of Oled in terms of contrast, a perfectly calibrated panel, a quality sound system and everything you need for gaming. Needed in terms of connectivity and functionality.
Note: The price drop reported is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product in the previous month, excluding in-store prices. with protective rules for those whose VAT policy is unclear (so-called “grey” stores, usually in the case of imports from China).
An alternative
For years, LG has been hitting hard with its C range and this LG 55C3 – the 55-inch (140 cm) version of the LG 65C3 we tested – is still a great reference. Sure, the improvements are minor compared to the C2, but we appreciate the panel’s increase in maximum brightness. The versatility of a TV to enjoy movies and games at home is always there with almost no compromises, the best technologies reserved for the LG G3, the manufacturer’s top model.
