Expected in a few months, the Google Pixel 9a is often prone to leaks. The latest is related to its design. The X fenibook account in any case claims images of what will be the firm’s next Android smartphone. This leak of front and back images has the same design as shown in previous leaks of supposed renderings, so we’d be tempted to believe it.
Towards a design inspired by the Google Pixel 9
Google will abandon its banner system here. On its back, this time there’s a small, flat, oval-shaped island where the image sensors are mounted. The main one will be the 48 MPx Sony IMX787 (down from the Pixel 8a’s 64 MPx), as in the Pixel 9 Pro fold. It will be accompanied by a 13 MPx ultra-wide angle. Same number of MPx on the front for the selfie sensor in a classic notch.
As for the rest of the technical specifications behind its 6.4-inch screen, we remain in the realm of rumors and speculation. A 5,000 mAh battery (with fairly slow 18 W charging) will power a Tensor G4 chip backed by 8 GB of RAM.
Confirmation soon
The price, for its part, should not exceed the Google Pixel 8a when it was released, namely $499 in the Atlantic. A good point for this mid-range terminal, despite its large size, whose panel will be on par with the Pixel 9 and 9 Pro.
