Read by SFR vs B&U vs Sosh: Which 130GB Mobile Plan to Choose?

The 130 GB plan has become popular in recent weeks. RED by SFR, B&You and Sosh all offer them for the same price of €7.99 per month. But behind this unique price tag are offerings with very distinct features. Network coverage, services included, options available… We compare these 130 Go packages without obligation to help you see more clearly.

What does the RED 130 GB 5G plan offer for €7.99 per month?

The RED by SFR offering provides access to 5G at no additional cost. In fact, the 130 GB data provided is available on SFR’s 5G, 4G+ and 4G networks in mainland France. Outside the borders, the amount of usable data in 4G drops to 27 GB for roaming in Europe and French overseas territories.

It’s possible to get more with the +5 € per month option, which allows you to take advantage of 35 GB in the EU/DOM, including 20 GB usable in Switzerland, Andorra, the United States and Canada. RED by SFR also allows you to buy a 50 GB recharge for €10 if you run out of data in mainland France. However, only recharging is possible.

In addition to data, the RED 130 GB 5G package includes unlimited calls, SMS and MMS from both mainland France and EU/DOM zones. Till January 6, 2025, the operator is also offering a bonus of 4 months of Deezer Duo free.

**Benefits in Brief:**

  • 130 GB data in 5G and 4G in mainland France
  • Includes 27 GB 4G data when roaming in Europe and French overseas territories.
  • Unlimited calls, SMS and MMS from mainland France as well as Europe and French overseas territories
  • SFR Network Coverage
  • Without preoccupation
  • SIM or eSIM card available (at €10)
  • Deezer Duo free for 4 months

What’s included in the B&You 130 GB 5G package for €7.99 per month?

The B&You 130 GB plan also includes 5G at no extra cost. Its main difference compared to the RED by SFR offering is in the previously mentioned network. This B&You mobile plan is based on Bouygues Telecom’s 4G and 5G networks. Additionally, it also offers more data (35 GB) for roaming from Europe and French overseas territories, and its SIM card (or eSIM) is offered for €1 instead of €10. Of course, this no-obligation plan also includes unlimited calls and SMS/MMS.

What is the Sosh 130 GB package for €7.99 per month?

Unlike the above two offers, the Sosh 130 GB package does not offer 5G access. On the other hand, it benefits from the quality of the Orange network, which has been named number 1 in France. This includes 15 GB of 4G internet for use while roaming in Europe and French overseas territories, as well as unlimited calls and SMS/MMS.

Which 130 GB plan to choose?

It will depend on your needs and expectations. If you want 5G, the Sosh package is not for you as it is limited to 4G. On the other hand, it provides access to the Orange 4G network, considered the best in mainland France. So it’s up to you to weigh the pros and cons, then choose the option that suits you best: 4G from Orange or 5G from Boigs Telecom and SFR.

If you travel a lot and are looking for the offer with the most data for roaming in Europe and French overseas territories, the B&You plan is the best choice with 35 GB of data usable in these regions. The RED by SFR package comes as the second choice in roaming with its 27 GB, which is also adjustable through a paid option that lets you enjoy more data from more locations.

Speaking of flexibility, the RED by SFR Mobile plan is also the only one of the three that allows you to recharge (50 GB at €10) when you’ve used up your data earlier than expected.
