In addition to Orange, Disney is coming to free subscribers in 2025.

This morning, we reported on a new partnership between Orange and Disney. At the end of the day on December 20th, it was Frey’s turn to issue his press release announcing more or less the same thing.

The announcement is less detailed than Orange’s, but it’s interesting to subscribers, especially since they won’t have to pay anything.

Disney is looking for new allies in France.

Starting January 1, 2025, two channels will be included in the basic package of all Freebox subscribers at no additional cost: Disney Channel and National Geographic. The former should please the little ones with its numerous cartoons, while the latter will probably satisfy documentary fans.

To access it, it will be possible to use both Freebox TV and OQEE (smart TV, smartphone, computer, etc.) or even a 5G box. These two channels, which are accessible on Freebox’s channels 49 and 60, add to the already integrated 230.

Disney+ is still available for free.

In addition, Free indicates that it has renewed its distribution deal for the Disney+ streaming service. The latter is integrated into the Freebox Ultra offer for free (standard with ads) and for three months for Freebox Pop subscribers.

With this partnership, Disney has confirmed its desire to impose its content through as many channels as possible in France, despite the divorce from Canal+.
