CES 2025 is fast approaching, and manufacturers are already starting to announce their new products. This is especially the case with LG, which took the time to unveil new ultraportable PCs for its Gram range in this first week of the year.
LG Gram Pro 17, 16 and 16 2-en1
We love that the new LG Gram Pro 17, which now benefits from Intel Arrow Lake-H processors in Core Ultra 5 and Ultra 7 and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 graphics cards, reaches that range of computers. Wings weight 1.479 kg for a thickness of 1.58 cm. As for the display, Oled is still not in the game, thus limiting itself to a 17-inch IPS LCD panel with QHD+ definition and a refresh rate of 31-144 Hz, whose autonomy is ensured by a sufficient 90 Wh . The LG Gram Pro 16 has a display with similar features, with one exception: the screen drops to 16 inches diagonally. It then runs on Lunar Lake chips (Core Ultra 5, 7 and 9), while being powered by a 77 Wh battery. In terms of size, we drop down to 1.239 kg and 1.28 cm thick, making it an even more compact ultraportable.
The 16-inch LG Gram Pro 2-in-1 also comes with Intel Arrow Lake-H processors (Core 5 or Core 7). Slightly thicker (1.29 cm), it weighs in at 1.399 kg thanks to its heat dissipation system, which is also present in the Gram Pro 17. The display is still of better quality, as an option allows you to take advantage of it. LG Grambook, the new baby
To round out the 2025 Gram range, LG has added a brand new model: the Grambook. The goal is simple: lower specific sliders to offer a more accessible ultraportable computer. Thus we end up with the following technical sheet:

AI to follow the trend
Not surprisingly, the new 2025 LG Gram includes generative artificial intelligence. For the occasion, the brand has introduced an in-house AI: GramChat, which leverages LG’s EXAONE model’s offline mode and AI in the cloud powered by GPT. -4o in Wi-Fi mode.
It has also been noted that Gram Chat has been integrated into calendar and messaging applications to help with organization and writing. While Windows 11 struggles to launch Recall, LG has taken on Microsoft with a time travel function to go back to previously performed navigation actions.
Note, the LG Gram Pro 16 with the Lunar Lake chip is described as PC Copilot+ designed for AI.
Price and release date
At the time of writing, no price or release date has been shared by LG. So we expect pricing to be similar to last year, starting from around €1,500 to over €2,000, or even more than €2,500 for the best-equipped variants.
The release date could be in the next months, most likely in the month of March, like last year for the LG Gram 2024. .
