Pollster Finally Arrives in France: Revolution in the Electric Car War

The brand has already attracted many motorists in the markets where it is present. The Polestar was eagerly awaited in France but had to postpone its launch in France after a legal battle with a competing brand. With the latter resolved, the manufacturer will now invest in the French market.

Polster is probably the brand most anticipated by French electric vehicle drivers. It will compete with premium brands, such as Porsche, Tesla, Mercedes or even Alpine and its future models to come.

Anticipated entry into the French market

After long-awaited legal battles, Swedish electric vehicle brand Polster has finally announced its arrival on the French market. The expansion is part of Polestar’s strategy to strengthen its presence in Europe and offer its latest models to French drivers.

It will be able to rely on the Volvo network for its distribution. Polster was originally a specialist tuner for the Swedish brand before it merged, then became a full-fledged manufacturer shortly after. The range now has three models, named for the sedan, 3 for its SUV and 4 for its SUV. SUVSUV Coupe

A legal dispute was resolved.

The Polestar’s launch in France was delayed by a dispute with Citroën over the similarity of their respective logos. In 2019, Citroën took legal action, believing that the Polestar logo looked too similar to its iconic one. ChevronChevron.

The controversy led to a temporary ban on the marketing of Polystar vehicles in France. After several years of legal proceedings, the two manufacturers reached an agreement during the summer of 2022, thus removing the barriers to the entry of polyester into the French market.
