In October 2023, Meta added a welcome feature to the Android version of WhatsApp: the ability to use multiple accounts in the same application. Since then, iOS users can only find that their version of the instant messaging application is seriously lagging in this area. But the wait is usually over soon.
A feature still in beta.
As is often the case, this upcoming arrival was discovered in the beta version of the application i.e. 25.2.10.70. The deployment date within the general public version of the instant messaging app on iOS is therefore still unknown. However, you shouldn’t wait too long before the feature, which has already been rolled out on Android for several months, is finalized for iPhones. However, those in a hurry can join the TestFlight program to try it out now.

Not surprisingly, multi-account management on iOS looks the same as on Android. As a practical, personal and professional example, especially for users with multiple telephone numbers, this functionality will allow you to easily switch between two accounts within one application. It will definitely be easier than flashing different versions of WhatsApp or multiple phones.
Contacts, settings, conversations and notifications will of course be separated between accounts. Adding a second account should also be like Android, ie via a QR code to scan after specifying your device as “Main”.

WhatsApp is a free and secure instant messaging service that allows you to stay in touch with all your friends or family, you can download and install it on all platforms.
